Christchurch Hall, Colbert Avenue,         Thorpe Bay

A contract of some £350k to build an extension to the existing church centre and designated Phase 2 of the development, the project was designed by Ayshford Sansome Architects in conjunction with engineers CWT Partnership. A piled foundation with steel frame and brickwork superstructure, the building incorporates zoned under-floor heating and movable acoustic partitions for simultaneous multi-purpose use. Highly durable oak flooring gives a traditional feel and allows a wide range of functions befitting a church community centre.
